Web3 Quick Setup is a Chrome extension that replaces the new tab page with Web3 shortcuts and provides quick links to install crypto wallet extensions. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not collect names, email addresses, browsing history, or any other personally identifiable information.

Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save:

• Your custom shortcut preferences (names and URLs)
• The toggle state for enabling or disabling the new tab override

This data is stored entirely on your device and is never sent to any server or third party.

External Services

The extension loads website favicon images from Google's public favicon service (google.com/s2/favicons) to display shortcut icons. No user data is sent in these requests.

Permissions

• storage — To save your shortcut preferences and settings locally
• tabs — To redirect to Chrome's default new tab page when the extension is toggled off
• topSites — To optionally display your most visited sites

Third Parties

We do not sell, transfer, or share any user data with third parties.

Changes

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
